This revolutionary robot German cuisine reinvents ten years after their last release, the new Thermomix TM5, fully digital and similar to the previous price.
The history of Thermomix® began in France in 1970. Since creams and soups are a reference in French cuisine, Vorwerk had the idea of designing a machine that would crush cooking and heating at the same time to develop such recipes.
In 1971, the first machine for cooking Thermomix VM 2000 was rolled out first in France and then in Spain and Italy. And now, back to return the reins of innovation, presents the new Vorwerk Thermomix TM5, successor to the successful model 2004 “TM31”.
The new Thermomix TM5 is an appliance that has a design that emphasizes its color touch screen where program time, temperature and speed as well as a single switch that replaces traditional buttons.
This screen is also the interface offered by the ‘Kitchen tour “feature, which shows step by step each of the recipes, so that the user has only to incorporate the ingredients.
This is achieved by purchasing kitchen guided electronic cookbooks (A kind of caps) which are connected to the device. The recipes are not only step by step, also suggestions, variants, ingredients and practical information of each of them, including nutritional values.
Of course the new Thermomix TM5 retains the traditional manual mode to further develop old recipes.
The most prominent of the new Thermomix TM5
Apart from the twelve traditional functions (weighing, mixing, chopping, grinding, crushing, kneading, baking steam, cooking, whisk, heat, remove and emulsify), the new Thermomix TM5 incorporates the following improvements:
- The locking system that opens and closes automatically bars closing the lid.
- The new feature that allows weighing food while cooking.
- A wider range of speeds and temperatures ranging from 37 to 120 and the Turbo function, with intervals of 0.5, 1 and 2”.
- The glass and accessory Varoma are 10% larger and may contain up to 2.2 and 3.3 liters respectively.
The new Thermomix TM5 is already on sale at a price of 1,100 euros, and includes the first digital cookbook, “easy and healthy cuisine,” with 197 recipes.
