A few days ago Sony presented its new range of speakers and sound equipment multiroom compatible with Google Cast and designed to carry our favorite music to all corners of the home.
One of these teams barely details were given was the Soundbar HT-NT5, a model of upper-middle range of which we now known more data and technical specifications that we shall discuss below.
We find the typical configuration of bar plus external subwoofer for low frequencies whose main distinguishing feature with respect to classical models is the thinness of the bar itself, which has a size of 1080 × 58 × 127 mm.
Why so thin? Depending on the brand so we can install it without problems on any modern TV, keep the type of base you have, without our clutter when viewing the screen or cover the area of the receiver remote control, but we can also choose to hang it on the wall.
The subwoofer has dimensions of 190 × 382 × 386 mm and together provides a power of 400 watts (peak guess and not RMS). It is capable of decoding Dolby Digital tracks, Dolby Digital +, DTS, DTS Master Audio and DolbyTrueHD as well as handle signals LPCM (2CH / 5.1CH / 7.1CH) through its 3 HDMI ports.
