The projectors home theater usually large appliances generally require external accessories like a speaker system or content players have a functional quality system.

However, in recent years it seems to establish itself among the lower ranges the tendency of all in one, with more compact models that attempt to unify all these components in the body of the projector itself at the cost of image quality and projection functions.

It is the model case before us, the XGIMI Z4 Aurora, designed as compact entertainment center and incorporating 3D projector, stereo, media player and Android console.

Technical characteristics

We are facing a projector based on LED technology that has a lamp OSRAM last approximately 30,000 hours, so we can use it without problems several hours a day without fear of spending.

It has a native resolution of 1.280×800 pixels, insufficient if we are looking for a home theater system quality, although signal inputs supports Full HD and 4K that will scale to those 800p. Its brightness is 700 ANSI lumens and contrast of 5,000:1, as shown unimpressive figures when compared with current projectors.

But the interesting thing Aurora is its ability to become portable media center when riding a quad – core CPU at 1.5 GHz with Mali-450MP4 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, all it governed by an operating system Android 4.3.
