Sengled presented at CES 2017 a curious invention designed to transmit sound from different devices (especially TV) wirelessly to an LED bulb with built-in speaker. It was Pulse Link, a team that has now put on sale and we have known more details.
Basically we have a kit consisting of two elements: the wireless transmitter which must connect the sound source and satellite bulbs that receive the signal via Bluetooth and play in mono if you only use one or stereo if we connect two or more.
The system is controlled from a mobile application that lets you select which bulb the sound source will play. This is connected to the transmitter via a jack 3.5 mm cable or a 3.5 mm at one end and RCA on the other that is included in the package.
The built – in speakers bulbs do not offer spectacular performance due to the small size of their drivers, who remain in discrete 1.75 inch amplification power of 13 watts and a frequency response of 100 Hz to 20 KHz, So we may miss some more serious when it comes to listening to music.

Bulbs, meanwhile, offer the equivalent of 600 lumens (about 55 watts of a conventional incandescent model) with a combined consumption (bulb more sound) between 15 and 30 watts.

The kit Sengled Press Link is now available on its website at 199.90 dollars and includes two bulbs satellite Press and adapter Press Link. In addition, the adapter is available separately at a price of 99.90 dollars.
