Sony speakers with Google Cast have music wirelessly to every room in house

We have spoken on other occasions of Google Cast, the brainchild of Google system that enables communication of our gadgets (compatible) to transmit images and sound between them without the need for wires and more and more manufacturers join this trend.

In this case we will talk about Sony, as the Japanese giant has put on the market their new teams of multi-room audio consist of a sound bar and two speakers with the distinction of being compatible with Google Cast so we can have our music in every room of the house.

The sound bar is the Sony HT-NT5 and has six speakers arranged in an inclined angle upward to facilitate better sound distribution. In the case of Sony SRS-ZR7, we are facing the superior model, larger (dimensions 8.5 x 29.2 cm) and feature the S-Master HX technology that keeps noise to a minimum. It offers connectivity via HDMI so you can connect directly to the TV, two USB (USB A and USB B) jacks to connect another device, a stereo mini-jack input and an Ethernet jack on the back.

The Sony SRS-ZR5 is the lower model, more compact design (10 x 16 cm) and has also has a connection HDMI, USB A and mini-jack plug stereo with Bluetooth and NFC support LDAC.

Both speakers we can control by SongPal application, available on iOS and Android with which we could already manage other audio devices as the Japanese brand and its wireless sports headphones Sony NWZWS615B.

Price and Availability

Both the sound bar and speakers will be available from mid-May with prices will be 230 dollars for the speaker Sony SRS-ZR5, 299 dollars if we choose the SRS-ZR7and 800 dollars if we do with the bar sound Sony HT-NT5.
